I’ve been teaching since 1986 and currently teach 15-20 students in private homes. I am a patient teacher who enjoys helping each student achieve his/her individual potential. I enjoy the challenge of helping students understand notation, rhythm and harmony. My main teaching goal is for my students to enjoy making music. I provide my students with a comprehensive learning experience that helps them to develop their full musical potential. Also, I try to make the learning process fun so that my students enjoy playing instruments and look forward to their lessons each week! In every lesson, you’ll be playing music as well as learning scales, finger exercises and sight reading. As your ability grows, you’ll also be exposed to more advanced aural and rhythm skills along with improvisation, composition, musicology and performance.
