Harp

I'm Mollie Lennon and I'm 23yr old harpist who's been playing for 11 years, and performing solo professionally for 8 years. I love sharing my music and bringing a sense of magic to my audience. The harp is a beautiful instrument, and it can also be a lot of fun to learn. Due to its ethereal sound, it is very forgiving to play and it doesn’t take much to start sounding like a pro! I bring a light, fun approach, with the student's enjoyment at the heart of my teaching. My lessons are aimed at beginners to intermediates. Students do not need any previous musical experience or training, just a willingness to have a go and practise. As the harp is not a common instrument to own, I am able to provide a rental harp for the student to practice on at home. Lessons are one-on-one and in-person, lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour. The duration of the lesson depends on the student’s capacity to concentrate, and can be changed if needed. Lessons are held at my studio at Mount Vincent. Please contact me with any questions or for more information.

HarpMusic Theory

I teach harp at many levels from my home near Manly. My specialty is lever harp; Irish harp, South American and arranging harp to accompany singing or other instruments. As I also have professional teaching qualifications (and work in the school system), I am very mindful of working closely with your specific student objectives, whether your learning style is reading music or playing by ear.
