I teach any student from any age, and any ability level. My focus is on having fun, playing duets and diverse music pieces that inform great tone, technique and confidence in each player. Each and every student is unique, and so is my approach to each student. Ultimately, we are not all going to be great soloists, however, through learning music, each student will learn to be more confident, more diverse in their problem solving, and disciplined, with a focus on the journey rather than just the outcome. I have been playing for 36 years, some of which as a professional soloist. I have a Bachelor of Music and a Masters of Teaching.
