Qualified with Grade 7 AMEB piano and Grade 3 Music Theory, I’ve been teaching for 20 odd years and am probably unique in my teaching methods in that I try and make them creative but within a structured context. You or your child will be well versed as a musician, because i try and make sure each student is competent at reading, theory, aural skills, technique and composition. Happy to support students through exams if required or just for pleasure. The journey of music-making needs to be joyful at the most, and I have been reported as being “gentle, patient and creative “ as a piano teacher which probably reflects this! You can try one lesson and continue, and only need to pay upon each lesson attendance. Located in Thornbury.
