Being a composer, qualified piano teacher and published author of music education materials, my lessons cover a large range of skills from learning to read quickly and efficiently with my simplified interval reading system, to colour-coding for rhythm training, ear-training plus chord and improvisational skills. I prepare students for AMEB or other exam syllabuses if desired but many students just come for the holistic learning experience I offer. Visit my website for more information.

About you I teach beginner and intermediate piano to children and adults from my studio in Mascot. Lessons are relaxed and built around the music you actually want to play, with AMEB exams available if you prefer.

Elaine has been teaching violin, viola, and piano for over ten years overseas and in Sydney. After completing her Bachelor of Music, she also has a master's degree in creative music therapy from WSU. Given her educational background, I served as a music teacher in senior high school and private music educational institutions. She has experience in teaching AMEB exam or for students who generally want to learn music as a hobby. Currently, she's traveling to students' places for teaching and would choose textbooks based on students' individual goals and interests.
