My name is Sharim and I provide personalised contemporary piano and acoustic fingerstyle guitar lessons tailored to your unique musical aspirations through ear-based learning and understanding music structurally. My primary focus is reconnecting adult learners with musicality that they couldn't find with traditional music lessons - but I also coach new musicians and younger learners.
I am a piano player who has been playing the piano for 15 years. I have experience teaching piano to kids as well as adults. Also, I am a member of my church band, arranging the music for the whole band. I provide piano lessons for beginners to intermediate students, and also for learners who intend to take AMEB exams. ### Piano Teacher | Classical Piano | Music Theory | AMEB Preparation I’m a professional piano teacher and composer with 7 years of teaching experience in music institutes. I teach children, teenagers and adults from beginner to advanced levels, with lessons tailored to each student's goals and musical interests. **Lessons include:** * Classical piano * Iranian / Persian music * Music theory * Rhythm and solfège * AMEB exam preparation * Sight-reading and technique * Beginner to advanced piano * Composition fundamentals I believe piano lessons should be both structured and enjoyable. Alongside developing proper technique and musicianship, I like to incorporate music students already enjoy, including movie and game soundtracks. Lessons are available in English or Persian, online or in person in Melbourne. I’m happy to work with students preparing for exams, learning for personal enjoyment, or simply wanting to develop their piano skills.
